Nevada or UNR?

For the sake of branding on our website – we refer to our beloved alma mater as the “University of Nevada” and its teams as the “Nevada Wolf Pack”.

Aside from this secret page, you will not see us refer to these teams as the “UNR Wolf Pack” nor the university as “UNR”.

Another aspect of the Nevada Athletics that is important to remember is that we are the “Wolf Pack” – two words. The “Wolfpack” refers to a different university. There is no “Nevada Wolfpack” and certainly no “UNR Wolfpack”.
